We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Care Home Manager. The Care Home Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring the highest level of care and support is provided to residents.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of Direct Support Professional and all other support staff.
- Ensuring implementation of care plans for residents and that their individual needs and preferences are met.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, making necessary reports to the program director in order to maintain such.
- Manage the care home budget, ensuring financial resources are allocated effectively.
- Overseeing the Individuals financial ledgers to ensure that onboarded staff and veteran staff are following protocol.
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations (OARS).
- Handle any complaints or concerns raised by residents or their families in a professional and timely manner while communicating such complaints with the program director as needed.
- Keep up to date with best practices in the care industry and implement any necessary changes to improve the quality of care provided.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a managerial role within the care industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing the care sector (OARS).
